2019 Holiday Coupons

Hello everyone,

Suddenly, the leaves have turned, and instead of iced coffee, I’m reaching for a spiced latte. This year has been busier than most with many ups and downs. I’ve been meaning to get back to this blog, but the days keep getting away from me. Today I managed to compile a 2019 Holiday Coupons round up and review my coupon/ rebate app savings so far this year. I was worried that vegan friendly coupons might become more rare with the bankruptcy of MamboSprouts, but luckily, it seems like companies are simply pushing them out through their own email lists. There are several rare or high value coupons right now – from Alpha Foods (a new favorite of mine) to tried and true Beyond Meat and Amy’s brand.

Additionally, I’ve been using Mylk Guys, the new online vegan grocery store, to order all the vegan “dairy” for my household. The shipping costs are honestly quite reasonable. The items come packed in sturdy cardboard, eco-friendly padding and dry ice.  Mylk Guys carries everything from faux meat to cheese to health products or even sweets. Now I can order Primal Jerky, Uptons Chorizo, Just Egg, and Miyokos all at once! Fun fact – they have the largest selection of vegan cheeses in the United States. Get $10 off your first order by using my link!

As always, you can check out my top ways to save and other recent savings posts.

An Online Vegan Grocery Store

* Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. That means I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. All opinions are my own.

Hello everyone,

I often find myself frustrated when grocery shopping as many stores simply won’t up vegan item inventories so they tend to run out very quickly. Many of my favorite vegan brands had their own shops online, but the shipping was expensive, and multiple websites meant, multiple shipping fees. Well, Mylk Guys apparently knew this was an issued and tackling the problem by creating an online vegan grocery store with reasonable shipping costs. The shipping fee covers transportation costs and packaging, including boxes, insulation, and coolants – ensuring that your order arrives fresh and ready to enjoy!

Mylk Guys carries everything from faux meat to cheese to health products or even sweets. In fact, my favorite vegan cheese – Miyokos Creamery – closed their own online shop to sell on Mylk GuysNow I can order Primal Jerky, Uptons Chorizo, Just Egg, and Miyokos all at once! It’s so simple! They also carry many brands I’ve never tried before, and the products look delicious! I’m so happy to see a company catering to the vegan market  and realizing that cost is a factor.

Fun fact – they have the largest selection of vegan cheeses in the United States. Why not browse their selection and give it a try? You won’t be disappointed, but it might be hard to choose!

Cheers & happy shopping!

Winter 2019 Coupons Round Up

* Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. That means I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. All opinions are my own.

Hello everyone,

What better way to settle into the final long stretch of winter than with a Winter Vegan Coupons Round Up? While I found several high value or stackable coupons for vegan brand favorites like Daiya, Beyond Meat, Follow Your Heart, Go Veggie, Kikkoman and others, I do have some unfortunate news to share.

MamboSprouts went out of business near the end of 2018. MamboSprouts used to be my go to for organic, vegan coupons, and they never disappointed. From Kitehill to Fieldroast, their website contributed to a large portion of the ultra rare coupons I used to find. I’m hopeful that those companies will continue to provide coupons through their own websites or other third party vendors.

I also noticed that Hopster didn’t have any coupons available this week. It’s odd to me that vegan coupons are drying up, while we know the vegan population keeps getting bigger and bigger. Thankfully, rebate apps like Ibotta are always full of veg-friendly savings.

Cheers and happy savings –

Jocelyn

Hello everyone,

Here we are. We’re facing the end of one year, and the start of the next. And admittedly, I have been MIA for quite some time. Two vacations, one promotion, a new kitten, and many other life obligations later, I’ve decided my hiatus was long enough. This year, I am setting out with my original goal for this blog—to have fun. I love sharing recipes and travel tips, but most of all, I really do love sharing my ways to save. And boy was 2018, a good year for savings! Check out my savings breakdown below!

Other Ways to Save:

  • Chase Sapphire Preferredin my opinion, is the best travel credit card out there. In one year I racked up 136,900 Chase points which is $1,711.25 in travel or $1,369.00 in cash. Here are the card’s basics:
    • It is a heavy, shiny, metal card.
    • Annual fee is $95, but it is waived the first year.
    • Earn 2x points on travel and dining, and travel is pretty broad – Uber, parking meters, and subway tickets count!
    • No foreign transaction fees.
    • Points are worth 25% more (1.25 cents) when redeemed for travel through the Chase portal.
      • Sign up with my referral and earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,00 0 in the first three months your account is open. (That’s about a $1,000 value).
  • Robinhood AppRobinhood let’s you join for as little as a $5.00 trade deposit. Plus, traders can buy and sell individual stocks for $0 a trade. On top of that, you and your referral each get a free share of a random stock when a referral link is used!

So all in all, I’m feeling pretty good about my savings this year. Over $800 in cash back/ Amazon gift cards, and I’m going to put my Chase points to use on my next vacation!

What are you saving for this year?

Cheers!

Jocelyn
