PSA Savers! Who doesn’t love earning points for things you already do? I’m an avid couponer, rebate app aficionado, and deal scavenger, but I cringe when it comes to web-browser plug ins.
After years of “thinking about it,” I finally signed up for Ebates, and yes, it has saved me over $100 without any additional effort on my part. So why did I wait so long? Well, fool me once I suppose…. I recently learned about Swagbucks—a very similar platform to Ebates—but with even more ways to save, and I didn’t hesitate.
Swagbucks allows you to earn points called SB. These points can be redeemed for merchandise or gift cards. (Tip: Each month you can cash in 2,200 points for a $25.00 Amazon gift card; additional $25 Amazon gift cards will cost 2,500). For a limited time, you can earn 2,500 points if you sign up for Hulu ($7.99/mo). You could opt to cancel Hulu after a few weeks…. Or look at it this way, it’s three months of Hulu for free. Either way, it takes about 5 minutes to make $25.
